Inviting farmers in the DMV to break bread with us. Over dinner, we will listen to your work, swap ideas and learn your successes and challenges. This is our work in the USDA's TOPP.
This network invites the AG community and those who support it and are curious about growing. For the evening, we work to connect farmers who grow naturally and organically or want to incorporate these methods on their farms, gardens, ranches, apiaries, and other spaces where food is raised and harvested. This is our work in the USDA's TOPP.
Rebuilding the walking trail through the woods at Mt. Pleasant Acres, we will work alongside Maryland's Department of Agriculture. Learn about forest management and agroforestry. Bring a wide brim hat and gloves with comfortable shoes or boots. No crocs, sandals or open toe shoes. This is our work in the USDA's TOPP.
A growing demographic are women-owned farms, apiaries, gardens and ranches.
Here you will see, dozens of farms offering high-quality varieties of meats such as beef, poultry, pork and lamb. Some even offer grass-fed and natural-raised selections.
Using traditional methods, many farmers grow organic produce without pesticides, harmful chemicals or with non-gmo, heirloom seeds.
